They actually DO have those aircraft in eastern Colorado. That's because there is nothing else out there. I have never seen them anywhere else, though!
Like helicopters or airplanes or what? And are they flying over the highways with radar? And then waht? Do the police stop you on the ground or do the helicopters pull you over?
The ones I've seen were small airplanes. There are mile markings on the shoulder that they can see from the air so they can time you from one to another. Then they radio a patrol car and tell them you are coming. It would be rather exciting to be pulled over by a helicopter, wouldn't it?
