South Coast Rep was a Dream . . .and now I'm back and reality looks a lot like sleet.

We had the reading in here. It went well, i think.

So much sun. Such beautiful theatres. They do great shows there. And I can say they treat visiting artists very very well. the whole trip made me optimistic about theatre again.

And now I'm going to go outside and get sleeted on. But then I will go see the Juilliard kids and that will make me optimistic too even thought the literal sun is gone gone gone.

  1. I thought it went well, too!

So I was talking to a co-worker about your reading and she mentioned that there was an arsonist in the fire department in Glendale, CA. Didn't know if you were aware of it. Joseph Wambaugh even wrote a pulpy true-crime book called "Fire Lover: A True Story." How great is that?

  3. Hi Kyle and Dan, Thanks for coming, one on one coast and one on the other.

Kyle thanks for sending me that info. Very interesting.

There are a bunch more stories about firefighters starting fires at least one of whom I know was a woman.

  5. Hi, GW! Castro couldn't make it but I think he really would have liked it. He's a despot who likes to laugh.
