I saw Local Story last night

It's pretty freaking great. Now, it's true that I'm biased. I have friends in the cast and I'm marrying the playwright. But part of the reason I fell in love with her was this amazing poetic play. Please go see it here or in LA. I know the show here is great and I can vouch for at least two of the actors in the LA show and they are tops. I also recommend Rag and Bone if you have not yet seen it.

Gonna miss the LA production (stuck at home), but Theatre of NOTE is an awesome company... BTW I went through their past productions (http://www.theatreofnote.com/past.html) and they list Larry Kramer as the author of "Food for Fish."

Is Local Story published anywhere yet so I can read it?

And I love the purple cover for it from Dramatists...

Thanks for pointing that out to me. That Larry Kramer guy always uses other people's titles. His last play was called The Crucible.

No, I'm kidding. I'll send them an email. Local story is not yet published but maybe someone will publish it after these runs. or if you send me your email I might talk K into emailing it to you. Of course then, I might learn your last name.

I wonder if people are more or less likely to buy a script because of its color. I'm hoping to have enough published to have a rainbow of colors.

I'm definitely seeing it but I haven't figured out when yet. I'm excited. I loved that movie she made with Laura Linney and Mark Ruffalo so I'm sure this will be just as good.

Oh, and careful what you say about Larry Kramer; we don't wanna piss that guy off.
