Cookies or not, it's a mistake to even have an online poll on a news site such as NOW.
Why?
As NOW pointed out: "...is the Palin poll now "scientific"? Absolutely not." So then the information you've gathered has no real value in making a conclusion about what people think.
The mistake is compounded by NOW's status as a "news" organization. It gives the poll, whatever your caveats, the impression of being valid.
So why did NOW put the poll on the site in the first place?
